AIMS OF THE CANADIAN CADET MOVEMENT
1. Develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership
2. Promote physical fitness; and
3. Stimulate the interest of youth in the sea, land and air activities of the Canadian Forces
Royal Canadian Army Cadets undertake a variety of adventurous training including lessons in map and compass, camping, rock climb¬ing, abseiling, kayaking, rope climbing, trekking, mountain biking and military parachute. Army cadets also learn about army traditions and par¬ticipate in a variety of national and international expeditions that focus on adventure training such as whitewater rafting, horseback riding and voyageur canoeing.What's something exciting your business offers? The Army Cadet League of Canada Newfoundland Labrador Branch, a civilian nonprofit organization, commits to support the Army Cadets in Newfoundland & Labrador by working in partnership with local community corps sponsors and the Cadet Area Office to assist Army Cadet Corps in NL to achieve the aims and objectives of the Canadian Cadet Movement in general, and the Royal Canadian Army Cadets in particular.
As long as you are a Canadian Citizen between the ages and have reached your 12th Birthday and not your 19th Birthday you are eligible to Join. Click Here for Details.
